Michael "Mojo" O'Brien

Lead Vocals

Mojo came up in the clubs in Chicago in the 80's and 90's. From there he went on to headline venues across the area and compose music that could be heard on local radio stations, and in an independent films. In recent years he's played festivals and events with his Classic Rock band "Super Rock Tribute" and as an original member of the popular Chicago area ensemble "Coterie". He also writes and performs original music with the band "Earthshine".

Mojo is excited to be part of VOYAGE and their ongoing legacy of bringing the best music from the 70's and 80's to stages all across Northern Illinois and beyond.

Tom Runge

Bass guitar & vocals

Tom is one of the newer members of the Voyage lineup and adds 30+ years of bass playing experience to the band. Shaking foundations & twiddling G strings everywhere, our Chicago Burbs bass player got his start when his brother gifted him a bass guitar in high school and he quickly developed a love for using those 4 strings for musical expression. Tom also performs backing vocals that are so pure, Angels actually descended from the heavens and pleaded with him to stop upstaging them.

Tom's greatest bass influences are John Entwhistle, Geddy Lee, Michael Anthony and Steve Harris. His experience comes from 100's of shows from bands: Tustin, Damaged Goods, Scorps (tribute), Valkyr, What About This, and is currently a member of 'On The Rockz'. Tom plays Rickenbacker, Charvel and Ibanez basses, Roto-sound & DR strings, uses Boss, Nady & Shure pedals / peripherals, and plays thru Mark Bass amplification.

Mike Sage

Keyboards, Guitars, Vocals

Mike's musical journey took him from playing the piano, drums, banjo, guitar and back to keyboards again. He's enjoying getting back out there playing keys and singing. He is the trifecta of the band bring keyboards, guitar and vocals. Mike was the last piece of the puzzle in bringing the band back to playing out. He loves music of all kinds, from rock to jazz, blues and classical . Mike loves to fire up the grill and is a software developer. 

GORDY SIEWERT

Drums, vocals

Founding member Gordy Siewert has been laying down the backbeat for Voyage for over 26 years. A self-taught drummer in a musical family, Gordy developed his skills as a teenager listening to his older brother play drums and devoted countless hours emulating drummers heard on albums and radio. Although he plays rock, blues, country, jazz, funk and disco, he favors influences like Tommy Aldridge, Neil Peart, Barriemore Barlow, and Bobby Rock. Experiences like playing trumpet in high school symphonic band as well as serving regularly in worship band at church, help develop his ears for pitch, melody and harmonies. Over the years, Gordy has played in other fun rock and dance projects such as Inner Drive, 8-Track, Centerline, and Loverboyz. His musical journey with Voyage has presented many incredible opportunities, sharing the stage with talented bandmates, national acts, and entertaining thousands of audience members and friends.

Al Hamilton

Lead Guitar & Vocals

Al is a professional guitarist in the Chicago area, and has played hundreds of gigs for countless thousands of people. Al has been in numerous bands and has shared the stage with many of Chicago's best bands and many national acts.

Al is currently a member of Voyage, On The Rockz, and Second Time Around. His influences include great bands such as Led Zepplin, Van Halen, Boston, The Eagles, Rush, Journey, and many more. Being in Voyage gives him the freedom to play the best classic rock music ever written. This great music will live on forever!!

Al plays Jackson and Ibanez flamethrowers through a Line 6 Helix supercomputer.
